Turn snack time into a learning activity just like they do on Blue's Clues. In "What Does Blue Want to Make?" Blue and Kevin decide to help Bowl and Spatula make a banana cake. First, they read the recipe so that they can tell which ingredients do and don't belong. Then, they make sure they have the appropriate quantity and measurements of those ingredients.
Makes 2 Loaves or 18 Muffins.

1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease and flour a loaf or muffin pan.

2. Beat the sugar and margarine with an electric mixer. When creamy, add the eggs, baking soda, flour, vanilla, and salt. Have your child mash the bananas with a fork and then you mix in the bananas.

3. Bake at 180°C for about 18 to 22 minutes (baking time will vary depending on your oven).

• 120g margarine
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 500g flour
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
