Home : Activities : Spooky Green Slime

Here is one slime recipe. It makes enough for about 25 kids to have a handful each. Of course, it's non-toxic, but it's not for eating!

Add a little water to the cornflour until liquid is just soaked up but mixture remains solid. Add food colouring until desired colour is achieved.

You could make a "Name That Green" game or contest. Have the children gather together and group them in teams. Read out clever descriptions or riddles of different things that are green (such as money, spinach, limes, grapes, and frogs), and let the teams write down their answers. Award a green prize to the team that gets the most riddles correct. Sounds like fun - in fact, we’re green with envy.
