Before
you start click the image on the left to print the paper
airplane template. All folds should be made so that
the "clean" (unlined) part of the paper shows.
First,
fold rectangular paper down centre along line marked
(1). Then fold top right and left corners until they
meet at the crease--use lines marked (2) as a guide.
Now you have a "house" shape.
2.
Fold left and right sides of paper to meet in the crease,
folding along lines marked (3).

Fold entire airplane again along centre crease, along
line marked (4).
4.
To create wings, fold two corners out and back along
lines marked (5). Now, let your child decorate.

• A4 paper or paper airplane

• Crayons, markers, stickers for decorating
• Use scissors with serrated
or patterned edges for a nice effect.
• Outline each square with a thick line of crayon
for a two-toned look.
• Draw and cut out little butterfly or bee shapes
from construction paper and glue them to the flower
