The show paints a fabulous story of the very-real Portland Bill
Lighthouse in location of Dorset. The lighthouse in the series was
named Guillemot Rock, and Portland Bill was the name of its keeper.
The befuddled duo Ross and Cromarty were the keeper's assistants,
and Dogger was their dog. The humour used in the series instantly
appealed to a wide range of both parents and kids and continues
to do so today! Portland Bill was devised, designed, scored and
