Little Bear and Father Bear are camping when Little Bear meets a new friend named Cub. Although Cub is also a bear and in many ways similar to Little Bear, he's at the same time, very different. Cub likes to sleep in a cave while Little Bear sleeps in a bed, and he just can’t understand why Little Bear has to cook his food! They have lots to learn about each other’s worlds. But Little Bear and his friends, just like you, soon fall in love with Cub. When Little Bear learns Cub has lost his parents, Little Bear decides to help Cub find them. Of course Owl, Hen, Cat and Duck join the search party, too! It's a lovable story about friends, family and adventure and the differences that make us special. |
Kristin Fairlie has been the voice and the heart of
Little Bear for six years running. Kristin, no stranger to
acting, started the series when she was 10 years old. She
often surprises viewers when they learn that Little Bear is
voiced by a female actor, but her success should come as no
surprise. In addition to The Little Bear Movie and the Little
Bear series, Kristin has appeared in other Nelvana projects
including the animated Feature Babar: King of the Elephants,
and Brian Jacques’ Redwall. Kristin has also appeared
in a variety of live action programs. In her spare time Kristin
likes to sing, play the saxophone and enjoys swimming and
skating. |
Kyle Fairlie provides the voice and spirit of Cub.
